Why a multi-passion coach hits different.

I couldn't find the coach I needed, so I became her...

I used to think having multiple passions was a weakness. The narrative was that "jack of all trades" were "masters of none." They were flaky, unfocused or not serious enough. Traditional education and business advice constantly reinforced this belief. The message was loud and clear: "Pick a lane. Niche down. Find your one thing and go all in." That advice might work for mono-passionate people. But for those of us who think in color, not black-and-white, it just doesn't fit. In fact, it can make us feel like something is wrong with us.

Little did I know, having multiple passions IS one of my greatest strengths... and likely yours too.

Let’s rewind a bit on how I got here....

I received a degree in graphic design with additional college courses in photography. Back in 2009, majoring in photography felt like a pipe dream—a career I believed wouldn't make any money (ha!). After school, I landed at an ad agency where I wore multiple hats for over five years. FYI - Multi-passionate people are major assets for "office jobs," even when those environments aren’t our forever home. We can assist in various departments and be flexible when it comes to learning new things.

Still, I felt the end coming. But the idea of choosing just one new path gave me total paralysis. So I stayed—until the universe gave me a cosmic nudge and a few of us were let go unexpectedly.

Looking back, that’s when everything started to shift. I had no roadmap, no Plan B. This is the first time I wish I had a coach by my side to help guide me in this new life. I had a lot curiosity, creativity, and (thankfully) a great group of friends who helped me grow my list of side gigs. These gigs were varying between graphic design, photography, and other random "hustles." A few months in, it hit me that I was making money doing various things! 🤯 Surely this couldn't last, right?! Then someone asked me to run their social media. And suddenly it all clicked: I could combine my passions and create custom platforms for small businesses. A way of monetizing my many passions/talents I didn’t even realize was an option.

Fast forward a few years, and I had people sliding into my DMs asking how THEY could make money with their passions. That’s when I realized if I was going to help others, I wanted to do it the right way.

So I invested in a six-month intensive coaching program through (ICF-Accredited) Quantum Coaching Academy. My life shifted again. The communication skills, mindset tools, and confidence I gained from that program show up in every client call and everyday conversation.
